Reverend Dr. Carmin A. Frederick-James works closely with the Community Outreach efforts of the Barbara W. Smith Family Life Center by building relationships with local schools and community partners including the University of Chicago Ingalls Memorial Community Advisory Council, the Community Renewal Society, School Districts 150 and 151 and the Girls on the Run Chicago program.
Reverend Dr. Frederick-James holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, a Master of Divinity from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology-Virginia Union University, a Master of Health Sciences in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Governors State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
